"Hid with Christ in God"
"Man ... is inseparable from all that belongs
to God here, now, and forever"
When our human affairs are running smoothly it is easy to acknowledge that we dwell under the protecting influence of God. But does an invasion of our sense of harmony by discord tempt us to believe that we have somehow become detached from God and are lost in a maze of evil where God's presence and power may not reach us? If so, we can well turn to the Scriptures. There we shall find that when even the great men of the Bible fell under this temptation, they were divinely assured of God's presence with them.
