As a result of the application of the teachings of Christian Science I have had many proofs of the omnipotence of God. Much harmony and happiness have come to me through an understanding of the truths of this Science.

To express my gratitude, I should like to tell of a speedy healing of a paralyzed arm and of a lung condition. I had had hemorrhages as a result of the latter for many years. When the arm became paralyzed, a friend asked me if I had thought of calling a Christian Science practitioner for help. Because I did not know what Christian Science stood for, she lovingly explained that a practitioner would heal me through prayer.

Because I was afraid that I would have a useless arm for the rest of my life, I had been accepting any kind of help I could get. So I accepted this offer and called a practitioner. She began to pray for me, and in a few days my arm was healed. More than that, I had no more hemorrhages and realized after some time that the lung condition was healed also. With much joy I told the practitioner that even the latter condition had been healed. In reply she asked, "Don't you know that when you were healed you were made whole?" This healing made a deep impression on me.
