I wish to express my sincere gratitude to God for a healing in Christian Science. While I was at work one clay I suffered a stroke. A doctor was called, and he summoned an ambulance and took me to a hospital. He also called my husband and told him of the condition. My husband telephoned a practitioner and met the ambulance when it arrived at the hospital. He told the doctor and nurses that I would only require nursing care because I would have Christian Science treatment, and then he signed papers to absolve both the doctor and the hospital from responsibility for me.

My right side was affected, and I was unable to speak. The practitioner continued to pray for me, and my side was normal the next morning. Within three days I could speak normally, and in nine days I left for home. In seven weeks I was back at work again. I am very grateful for all the love that was expressed toward me during this time.

We have had many other healings in our family over the years, such as those of warts, colds, influenza, headaches, hemorrhage, smallpox, burns, crushed toes, boils, pyorrhea, rheumatism, and some ailments whose names I do not know.
