The remark, "I envy you," is supposed to carry approbation with it; "I don't envy you," commiseration. Envy is sometimes tolerated as a somewhat harmless failing of human nature. Envy, however, should be recognized and rejected for what it is, a lie perpetrated by limited material sense, since the man of God's creating can neither envy nor be envied.
