"Earth's preparatory school"
"As the dream of materiality . . . fades . . . the
substance of spiritual things is recognized"
To students of Christian Science, earthly experience provides an opportunity to learn the true meaning of Life, or God. Mrs. Eddy shows us clearly in her writings the need to recognize the insubstantiality of the dream of material existence and to discover and accept the reality of man's individual spiritual identity as the offspring of God. She gave to the world definite rules which must be followed in order for us to progress from a material state of thought to spiritualized consciousness. When we employ these rules faithfully, living becomes a constant progression out of mental darkness into the understanding which brings the light of spiritual completeness
