The fact that my mother enrolled my two sisters and me in a Christian Science Sunday School has always been a cause of great gratitude on my part. Though I strayed from some of the teachings of Science for a short time, I am grateful that the steadfast example of a dear sister made me turn to it with renewed determination to study and follow its teachings at a time when I was in need of physical healing.

I had consulted a physician who diagnosed the trouble as a nervous condition. After a few weeks of medical treatment I showed no improvement; so I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science. Relief was immediate, but the complete healing was somewhat delayed. As I continued to study and abide by the rules of Science, I would turn on the difficulty when it presented itself. I was confident that as I held to a spiritual understanding of Truth, I could expect and claim a complete healing. This came about.

Many times too in caring for my family I have proved that Christian Science heals. Colds, bee stings, and influenza have been healed. We attribute the good health we have all enjoyed to the fact that Science is preventive as well as curative. I am grateful for the protection we have had from contagious diseases.
