Letters to the Press from Christian Science Committees on Publication
Cheshire Observer
Cheshire Observer

I should like to thank the author of a letter published in your newspaper for his friendly reference to a lecture on Christian Science....The lecture was based...n the Bible and he Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This textbook may be borrowed free of charge from any Christian Science Reading Room, and I am sure the study of that volume would enlighten your contributor on those points about which he is not clear.
The lecturer did not say that "anyone can be a healer," as he will find if he will look again at the report of the lecture in your paper. What she did say was, "Everyone can now learn how to work out his problems and heal the sick spiritually and scientifically."
