About eleven years ago my left...
About eleven years ago my left arm became stiff at the shoulder, and I could raise it only a few inches. I prayed as we are taught to do in Christian Science, but the difficulty continued for several months. I did not get discouraged, because I knew that Truth does heal, having proved this many times before. I was talking one day to a Christian Science practitioner, and she advised me to read and study these words of Mrs. Eddy from Science and Health (p. 283): "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action."
I pondered this sentence, knowing it to be true, and in a few days the arm was normal. It has remained so, and I am very grateful for the healing.
I should also like to tell of a healing which my daughter experienced some time ago. A painful growth developed on the back of her hand. Then two other growths appeared. She tried to apply the truths of Christian Science, which she had been taught in the Sunday School, but the growths remained. Then she asked me to help her.
