Attendance at a Christian Science Sunday School enabled me to experience a joyous childhood free from many of the so-called children's diseases.

When I entered high school I was undecided about which road to take. I felt my activities would be restricted if I stayed with Christian Science; so I thought the other road preferable and chose it. I started to smoke and eventually began to drink socially.

After I had been married a short time I began to suffer from various ailments. I went to a medical doctor, something I had never done before. He gave me an assortment of pills and medicines, but because I lacked faith in them they did not cure me.
