RADIO PROGRAM No. 363 - Protection from Harmful Elements in the Air

SPEAKER: In these times, there's a great deal of talk about the air we breathe. It's often asserted that harmful substances of many kinds are poisoning the atmosphere, causing illness, fear, suffering. That's why our program today will show how we can be protected from harmful atmosphere by turning to prayer and gaining a spiritual understanding of God and man. Our guest had an experience that shows the method of gaining such protection and freedom. She is Mrs. Martha Myers, of Columbus, Ohio.

MRS. MYERS: It began in 1945 while I was picking raspberries on our farm. We had a large raspberry patch, and during the season I picked berries from the earliest possible hour of the morning until dusk. While I was in the berry patch I began to be bothered with a great deal of sneezing. However, I was a Christian Scientist; so I knew prayer could heal the condition. I had a lot of time to think while I was picking the berries. So I tried to fill my thoughts with the understanding of God, divine Love. I often thought of these words from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 144):
