I became interested in Christian Science over thirty years ago after witnessing a healing of a member of my family. Since that experience I have had many proofs of God's protecting care.

One of the first healings that I experienced was that of nosebleed. For many years I suffered recurring attacks of hemorrhage of the nose, which often lasted for as much as an hour, leaving me weak and fearful. While I was having one of these attacks, a relative asked me if I would like to have a Christian Science treatment. I replied that I would try anything. All material remedies were discontinued, and a Christian Science practitioner was asked for help. Within half an hour the bleeding stopped, and I was free.

I had a few more attacks. Later, however, after I began reading the Lesson-Sermon from the Quarterly regularly, I realized that I had been permanently healed of this false claim.
