Dallas, Texas (Fourth Church).
The edifice of Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, Dallas, Texas, located at 5601 Scars Street, will be dedicated at two identical services on Sunday.
The church held its first meeting in 1945 in the Lipscomb School auditorium. In January, 1946, the church received recognition as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. Services were continued at Lipscomb School and later in the Lakewood Theater.
In March, 1952, the church moved to its present edifice which was purchased from a Church of Christ. The building was remodeled and redecorated.
