Reports of Progress

A librarian of a Christian Science Reading Room writes: "The progress made by this small Reading Room in the two years it has been open is gratifying to all who have been active in working for it.

"An editorial entitled 'Can Anything Resist God?' in The Christian Science Journal of January, 1956, was a source of real inspiration to the members while working toward the relocation of the Reading Room. They had decided to place the matter completely in God's care. Then a membership meeting was called for the purpose of voting on a location. Our executive board was authorized to rent the building and have it properly prepared for a Christian Science Reading Room.

"After work was actually started there was a great temptation to think that our supply was limited and that this step might have been taken too soon. Consecrated work was taken up by the members, and from that time on our supply proved equal to the aflluence of Love expressed by our members.
