I feel impelled to offer my testimony...
I feel impelled to offer my testimony in gratitude to God for Christian Science.
When our elder son was twenty months old, he was struck by a fast-moving swing. The blow knocked the little fellow several feet, and he was injured about the mouth and face. I carried him inside and telephoned long-distance to a Christian Science practitioner, who had helped our family many times.
The practitioner told' me to hold firmly to "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468) while caring for the child and not to allow myself to dwell on anything else, and he would take up prayerful work.
