Healing the Entire Corporeality
Those who are unacquainted with spiritual healing often assume, erroneously of course, that in concerning itself solely with the mentality of the one seeking help, Christian Science ignores the physical body. Such an assumption fails to take into consideration the relationship of mentality to body.
The teaching of Christian Science and its application to disease are completely set forth in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. In the chapter entitled "Science, Theology, Medicine," we read (p. 157), "Christian Science impresses the entire corporeality,—namely, mind and body,—and brings out the proof that Life is continuous and harmonious."
In this Science the harmonious functioning of the human body evidences divine Mind's control of man. The orderly action of the human system honors the government of the divine Mind, which controls the entire universe.
