We Too Can Stand upon the Mount
"Let us often ascend the mount of spiritual discernment and see God's perfect creation"
In Exodus we read that Moses stood upon Mount Horeb and talked with God. If Moses had not obeyed the call to go up to the mount, he would not have demonstrated that exalted oneness with infinite Mind that enabled him to receive the Ten Commandments. For the mountain, which appeared as a material place, symbolized a state of holy thought, or divine consciousness.
