For over twenty years Christian Science has been our only physician and guide. Through it many problems have been solved in our home.

Some years ago I was suffering from a severe cough. My supervisor thought it must be a pulmonary disease, and he wanted to send me to a doctor. I asked to be allowed to have help in Christian Science. He consented after I had told him something about this religion.

I went to a Christian Science Reading Room, and in a copy of The Herald of Christian Science [German Edition, July, 1936], I found a beautiful poem, the beginning of which I should like to quote:
