Never Too Young
[Of Special Interest to Young People]
One is never too young to practice Christian Science. The ability to put into practice the teachings of Christian Science is not necessarily dependent upon the number of years one has studied it.
Those who have taught in the Christian Science Sunday School have heard of demonstrations over sickness and discords of various kinds which the children have made. Many young people, with their simple faith and steadfast trust in God's ability to heal, have quickly proved the allness of God, good, and the nothingness of error. They have accepted undoubtingly as fact the statement made by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
It is recorded in the Bible that Christ Jesus, when he was twelve, was found in the temple listening to and questioning the doctors and astonishing them with his understanding (see Luke 2:46, 47). Later, after he had begun his healing ministry, he indicated that he wanted his adult followers to be childlike.
