We had attended Christian Science services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, for but a short time when our baby became ill. It seemed to us that there was something lodged in her throat. We took her to a doctor to see what the trouble was, and on having an X -ray picture taken, the doctor diagnosed the condition as pneumonia. We then turned to a Christian Science practitioner for help.

Wanting to rely on Christian Science entirely, although not understanding very much of its method of treating disease, we threw out all the medicines we had, dispensed with the doctor's services, and began reading the Bible Lessons, given in the Christian Science Quarterly, and passages from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy recommended for our study by the practitioner.

It was only a short time before the condition was healed, and the healing has been permanent. Since this time, we have relied upon Christian Science entirely and gladly testify to its healing power.
