The testimonies given in the Christian Science periodicals have brought so much inspiration to me that I should like to express my gratitude for all that this wonderful Science has done for me.

I began to study Christian Science through the help of a dear sister and also through a remark of one of my small daughters. This little girl had been invited to attend the Christian Science Sunday School by one of her friends, and one day, when she found me quite overwhelmed with my family problems, she said, "Mother, what you need is Christian Science!"

My sister went with me to buy a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and urged me to read it with an open mind. Considerable opposition in my own thought to statements in this book had to be overcome, but as the days passed I continued to read and to grow in understanding.
