It has been several years since I have expressed, through the periodicals, my gratitude for Christian Science healings. I have had several outstanding proofs of God's presence.

A most unusual demonstration occurred a number of years ago. We had recently moved from the windswept prairies in a midwestern state, where flowers have to struggle to live, to Oregon, where flowers grow in abundance. My joy was so great at the possibility of having my own garden that I at once put up a wire fence against which I planted sweet peas.

Our adjoining neighbor had a dry cleaning business and had been accustomed to hanging the garments on my line; therefore he was quite disturbed because of the fence. One afternoon I stood at my dining room window and saw him tear down the wire fence that held my plants erect.
