Twelve years ago I overheard a conversation on the eternality of Life as presented in Christian Science, and my wife and I forthwith began to investigate this religion. Our search was for God, to gain a better understanding of Him, and to learn who He is and exactly where He is. Although we certainly needed many healings in our family, both physical and mental, we did not look for healing, because we did not know that Christian Science is a healing agent.

Our first contact with this Science was through a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel. Then we attended a service in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and soon we were invited to hear a lecture.

Our first visit to a branch church was full of good, and it was shortly after that that we began to receive our healings. Within a month I was healed of the smoking habit of fifteen years' standing, but it was not until some time later that I began to realize that the spiritual and material could not and do not work together.

I should like to share an experience...
