Through the study of Christian Science I have been helped for many years. I was interested in it for some years before I became a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church; but since then I have had the joyous privilege of serving in various capacities in a branch church and of class instruction.

Christian Science has healed me many times. The effects of diphtheria were overcome after a doctor who had attended me prior to my interest in Science had said there was nothing more he could do. At the time of this illness I asked a friend to telephone to a Christian Science practitioner and ask for help. I was completely healed and took up the earnest study of this Science.

When I was a child, I used to have colds, but since coming into Science, I no longer have them. Sprained ankles have been quickly healed. I have not touched medicine or seen a doctor for over twenty years, nor have I spent a day in bed because of illness. Perhaps I am most grateful for the overcoming of unlovely traits of character and for learning to be more compassionate and to keep my thoughts more steadfastly spiritual.
