I have had many healings in Christian Science. They include those of blood poisoning, toothache, and various illnesses. I was reared in Christian Science, and yet during a particular experience, while I was trying to realize the truth, these questions kept coming: Does Christian Science really heal? and, What actually do I know about it?

The first question I quickly discarded because of the many proofs we had had. But in trying to find an answer to the second question, I made an extensive study of the word "Science" by using the Concordances to the writings of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. This study brought great spiritual unfoldment, and soon I was able to demonstrate the healing power of Christian Science.

One Sunday while surfboard riding, I lost my balance and hit the water with such force that my jaw became dislocated. Immediately I denied the evidence, realizing that it was a lying argument and not a part of my true selfhood as a child of God.
