AGE NO BARRIER TO RIGHT ACTIVITY

IN these times many business concerns have set an age limit at which employees are required to retire irrespective of their ability to perform their duties in a creditable manner. Compulsory retirement may come at a most inconvenient time. Perhaps the retirer may be faced with some situation requiring remunerative employment in order to meet certain obligations or because of other essential reasons.

At such time the retirer may entertain the thought that his age is a barrier against obtaining satisfactory employment, although he believes, because of a wide experience gained over the years, that he has much to contribute in the way of useful service.

Christian Science brings a message of assurance that God provides abundantly for all His children. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy states (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." She also states (p. 303), "Spiritual man is the image or idea of God, an idea which cannot be lost nor separated from its divine Principle." Man, being spiritual, is governed by God, divine Love. Man expresses God, the Giver of all good, and consequently is ever active.
