THE MANNA OF TODAY
God's constant care and provision for the children of Israel during their forty years' journey through the wilderness furnish an inspiring example of the Father's availability to meet all human needs. This example has brought forth the prayer in a well-known hymn (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 46),
Day by day the manna fell:
O, to learn this lesson well.
Still by constant mercy fed,
Give me, Lord, my daily bread.
