It is with deep gratitude to God for Christian Science and the blessings I have received through the study and application of its teachings that I share this testimony. We have experienced many healings in our family, and some of them were mentioned some years ago in a testimony of mine. One week end my son was taken ill, and after staying in bed for two days, he managed with some effort to get to his job on the morning of the third day. But after a few-hours he felt so ill that his superior insisted he see a physician at once.

The condition was diagnosed as a severe case of jaundice, and the physician advised him to enter a hospital for medical treatment and a month's rest in bed. My son asked to be taken home, and on reaching it, he asked me to write to a Christian Science practitioner.

Christian Science treatment was started, and my son began to improve. After two or three days he was up most of the time, and in a short while he returned to his job, completely healed.

Some years ago, when housing shortage was at its worst, it became necessary for me to move from the flat I was then occupying. With the help of a practitioner I acquired a house which completely met not only my own need, but that of my son also, since he was about to be married. My constant prayer during the short period of waiting was, "Thy will be done."

As I kept my thought completely free from doubt, anxiety, or outlining in any way, the most harmonious unfoldment of every step in our acquisition of this house and the move into it took place. This demonstration of Love's care has meant much to me, and during the years since then good has continued to unfold and bless all of us.

More recently I was healed of influenza. I had been very ill for several days before I sought the aid of a practitioner. On the morning when the practitioner took up work for me, I relaxed and rested in full confidence that the healing would follow, and so it did. That same evening I enjoyed a hearty meal, and the next day I was able to do my housework without any sense of fatigue.

I am grateful for all these blessings, for membership in a Christian Science Society, for all the Christian Science literature, which Mrs. Eddy provided for our growth, and for the practitioners who have helped me on the way.—(Mrs.) Tatjana Alexejeff, Heinola, Finland.
