ACT LIKE A CHRISTIAN SCIENTIST
[Of Special Interest to Children]
One autumn day Ricky and his sister were playing in the woods near their home. Some other boys and girls were there too. They romped and raced through the fallen leaves. Suddenly, one of the boys cried: "Look out! That's poison ivy!" The parents of these other children had told them about poison ivy and had warned them not to touch it.
Ricky and his sister had attended the Christian Science Sunday School from the time they were very small children. They had learned to prove the truths they had learned of God and of His likeness, man; and they had received many healings.
That day in the woods Ricky wanted to show off to his friends, who did not know about Christian Science. He stuck his hand down deep into the poison ivy.
