Every day brings increasing...
Every day brings increasing gratitude for and appreciation of the good effect Christian Science has had upon my life. The blessings I have experienced since becoming an earnest student and an active church worker have been numerous.
I should like to relate a healing which, to my thought, was outstanding. I was working on the top of a large building one morning when I missed my footing and fell with great force upon the ceiling joists, striking my chest against them heavily. I felt that some ribs were broken, and I was in great pain.
However, I was grateful that none of the other workmen saw the fall, and the first thought that came to me was that this was an opportunity for me to demonstrate Christian Science for myself. While making this demonstration, I worked my regular hours every day, and no one at the job ever knew of the problem. I was in pain and discomfort for two days; but the third day definite improvement began, and each day brought greater freedom and progress.
