Because of my gratitude for the periodicals and for all the healings I have had through the application of Christian Science, I feel it is time I expressed this gratitude by writing a testimony.

My first healing was that of arthritis. It was so severe that I had to leave work and remain at home. The doctors had advised me to keep off my feet as much as possible and to use crutches to walk. This I did for four months. Then a friend from the place where I had been employed visited me and said, "Why don't you try Christian Science?"

The following day I called a practitioner, who asked me to study the Bible and to purchase a copy of Science and Health by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and the Christian Science Quarterly and to study the Lesson-Sermons.
