I should like to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, as well as for the loving practitioners who are so willing to help us.

I was introduced to Christian Science by a member of my family, although I did not take up the study of the textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, for some time. After a period of very inharmonious relationships, I turned to Christian Science with all my heart. With the loving help of a practitioner I was able to rise above the inharmonious situations. I began the study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly and shortly thereafter became a member of The Mother Church and a branch church.

I was led to lay aside glasses, which I had worn almost constantly for eighteen years because of near-sightedness. As I began to get clearer and clearer views of my real, spiritual selfhood, my vision became sharper until in about a year I was completely healed.
