ALEC PROVES CHRIST'S HEALING PRESENCE

Alec is an English boy and has been a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School ever since he can remember. Here he listens to the spiritual truths of God and man and learns to use these truths to help him in his work at school and to keep him good and well and happy.

There are many homes in England which have no central heating, but are kept warm by fires burning coal or wood. There was one fire in Alec's home which he loved to attend to because, with ever so little care, it would keep on burning all day and all night and would never go out.

Early one morning Alec got up and went softly downstairs to see to the fire. On this particular morning he made the mistake of taking hold of a piece of metal at the front of the fireplace which was so hot that it burned his hand.
