Less than five years ago I was praying to God that I might know the power of prayer. My husband had a friend who was a Christian Science practitioner, and with her help he was healed of a physical difficulty and of smoking. Thus I too was introduced to Christian Science and found the answer to my prayer, for I have had many healings.

Three of my first healings were of constipation, hemorrhoids, and hernia. I was also healed of influenza and a throat condition. At this time I was employed in welfare work, and an emergency call I was to make that day necessitated my reporting at the office first. I had the symptoms of influenza, which brought forth comments from other employees. I called my husband and asked him to come to take me to the home of a Christian Science practitioner, who did prayerful work for me.

Within one hour I was feeling better and continued with my required duties. On my arrival at the office that afternoon the employees were surprised at my improvement and said they had not expected me to return. By next morning I was completely free.
