It is with gladness and deep gratitude to God that I testify to the truth of Christian Science. When I began to study this Science, I knew that it was what I had been looking for since childhood and that it was indeed the Science of Christ.

Through the prayerful work of a dear friend, a member of my family had a healing of a long-standing eye difficulty. Then in 1935, through the help of the same friend, I was healed instantaneously of tonsillitis. Later, my sister was healed of an internal trouble. It was through the clear, loving thought of a child who was a Christian Scientist that I was healed of malaria.

Though very grateful for physical healing, I am still more thankful to have gained an understanding of God and to have experienced the knowledge that this understanding, even in small degree, allays fear, brings one greater intelligence and capability, and makes life harmonious and joyful.
