Plymouth, Indiana (First Church).

The edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Plymouth, which was extensively reconstructed in 1950, will be dedicated Sunday, December 8, at the church's regular 10.30 a.m. service and at an extra 3.30 p.m. service. The afternoon service is for the accommodation of friends of the church who may find it more convenient to attend in the afternoon.

Sunday services in a Church of Christ, Scientist, are conducted by a First Reader and a Second Reader, who are elected for a term of three years. The sermon consists of selected readings from the Bible and from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, who founded the denomination in 1879. The sermon subject on Sunday will be: "God the Only Cause and Creator."
