It is with a deep sense of love...

It is with a deep sense of love that I express my gratitude for all the good that Christian Science has brought into my life. The privilege of being reared in Christian Science and of attending Sunday School, as well as of being married to a student of this Science, has given me cause for much gratitude.

During World War II, my husband entered the Navy, and we decided that I should follow him whenever possible. Each transfer was an opportunity to prove that in reality our home is in consciousness and that we are always in our rightful place. Attendance at branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, helped to heal homesickness, because we realized that we could never be separated from God or from His ideas. Lasting friendships were made, and supply was beautifully provided when we listened for God's direction.

One morning during this period my husband telephoned me to ask for help. Effects of a knee injury that had occurred in childhood had appeared again. He voiced the fear that he would have to report to sick bay unless the condition improved very shortly. I assured him that I would help him immediately and that a condition really healed in Christian Science does not recur.
