OBEDIENCE AND BLESSING
Obedience to right direction is one of the first lessons of childhood. As one matures, he finds obedience demanded of him continuously. It should be no surprise, then, to find obedience to God of first importance to all who wish to know Him better.
Man is the perfect expression of perfect God, the infinite All-in-all. He is the image and likeness of God, Spirit, and thus is spiritual. This fact leaves no room for a stubborn, material man with a will of his own. Such a concept of man is erroneous. It is never true of immortal man, who forever dwells in his Father-Mother God, cared for in every detail.
The real man is at all times obedient to God's direction, for he has no intelligence apart from God, divine Mind. He can do nothing of himself. As the reflection of perfect God, who harmoniously governs all with wisdom, man is always obedient. When one understands these truths and responds to Mind's government, he is a partaker of Mind's perpetual harmony.
