The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy are pleased to announce a new tape recording of seven Favorite Solo Settings to poems by Mrs. Eddy.
The tape, which is composed of the same seven poems now available on the long-playing phonograph record, includes five solo settings by Frederic Root: "Christ My Refuge," "Christmas Morn," "Communion Hymn," "'Feed My Sheep,' " and "Love," as well as two other settings, "The Mother's Evening Prayer" by William Arms Fisher and "Satisfied" by G. O'Connor-Morris.
These are sung by Frederick Jagel, the soloist of The Mother Church, and are accompanied on The Mother Church organ by the organist, Ruth Barrett Phelps.
