It is a great privilege to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. My mother came into this religion as the result of a healing of tuberculosis of the bone, after her case had been given up by the doctors as hopeless. Each member of our family has had many proofs of the healing power of this wonderful religion.

During my school days one of my schoolmates was treating me very unkindly for no apparent reason. I made up my mind that I would reflect Love to her in any way that I could, and I refused to give in to the temptation to indulge in hurt feelings. After earnestly striving to express Love. I realized one day that my schoolmate's attitude had changed completely and that she now was being especially nice to me. This experience has always been a very precious one on account of the lesson that it taught me. I had occasion to meet this same person a few years ago. and she expressed very warmly her delight at seeing me again.

Although for a time I discontinued my study of Christian Science and attended no church services, I was brought back to the truth when I suffered from a skin condition which was very serious. With the help of a practitioner this was beautifully healed, and I began to study again in earnest. Some time later I went to a larger city to work, and there I endeavored to demonstrate the truths of Christian Science for myself. Loneliness and resentment were overcome, and I was healed of influenza, a seriously injured finger, and a nervous rash. I attended church services in that city and joined The Mother Church and a branch church.
