My first healing through the help...

My first healing through the help of Christian Science was that of displaced organs. While having treatment by a practitioner, I distinctly felt these organs move back into place. This healing occurred in 1917 and has been permanent. I am grateful for many other physical healings which I have had through the loving help of Christian Science practitioners.

At one time my husband and I reached a turning point in our human experience. There were an accumulation of unpaid bills and no apparent source of supply. I had sought work to help my husband meet these bills, but there was no longer a demand for the type of work in which I was trained. I turned to the Bible and to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy for divine guidance and asked the aid of a consecrated practitioner.

The practitioner assured me that I was included in God's plan, a perfect plan which rewarded all those who relied upon it. I was helped by this verse in the Bible (Prov. 3:5): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding." As I worked with the truth, I was led step by step to establish a new business in our little town, and it met our needs through meeting the needs of others. The business expanded until not only our bills were paid, but also our son was given financial aid for a college education.
