I wish to relate a healing I had which proved to me that "the word of God is quick, and powerful" (Hebr. 4:12). I am a boy fifteen years old. One evening when I was riding my bike my foot slipped off the pedal. This caused me to lose my balance, and I fell off, striking my knee on the concrete.

At first it did not hurt, but as the evening grew on I began to limp. That night I awoke about midnight with such pain that I could not go back to sleep. My mother held to the thought that there are no accidents in the kingdom of God. About three hours later I fell asleep, but in the morning I could not put my weight upon the foot.

I stayed home from school and called a practitioner, telling her that in the evening our school was to have commencement exercises, in which I had a part. The practitioner explained to me that we are really always in our proper place at all times, and she said that she would take up work for me. Although the knee was somewhat better, I called her again in the afternoon, as I was fearful that I would not be able to stand before the audience. She replied, "God will stand with you."
