It is with great joy that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. Many years ago, due to a complication of scarlet fever and diphtheria combined, medical science said that I had but two weeks to live. My father had been reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy for about a year, and here was a testing time. We called a Christian Science practitioner for help, and in less than two weeks" time I was completely healed.

Christian Science was a great comfort and help to us during World War II. when a member of our family was reported missing in action during the Battle of the Bulge. He was subjected to the horrors of war, including confinement in a prison camp, but he came through the ordeal unscathed. While in the prison camp he became better acquainted with the Bible.
