While I was reading the helpful testimonies in the Sentinel, the thought came to me, It has been years since I told others through one of the periodicals how much Christian Science has done for me. My first testimony was published in the Sentinel for August 23, 1941.

Very humbly and with the sincere desire that others may receive help from this testimony, I wish to testify again to the healing power of Christian Science. I have no words to express adequately my boundless gratitude to God for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose wonderful revelation of the spiritual import of the Bible has blessed not only me, but the whole world.

For more than twenty years I have relied on Christian Science for the solution of problems. When a dear one passed on, I was lifted completely out of grief through understanding something of the following lines from "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy (p. 306): "When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove; but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts. Oh, may you feel this touch,—it is not the clasping of hands, nor a loved person present; it is more than this: it is a spiritual idea that lights your path!"
