TRUE WORSHIP IS SPIRITUAL

Within the hearts of many, there is the desire to worship something apart from and higher than themselves; the longing to know more intimately that which they adore as infinite and perfect; the yearning to have a clarification of religion which will result in an intelligent approach to God.

The nature of the infinite and true is understood through a study of the Christian Science textbooks, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. In these books no reference to divine corporeality, no pantheism is found, only the revelation of the true nature of Deity as incorporeal, supreme, infinite good.

God is shown to be unvarying Principle; indestructible Spirit; intelligent Mind; satisfying Soul; harmoniously active Life; Truth that is real; and tender Love that illumines and inspires. Although unseen to material sense, God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient Love that makes itself known, felt, and seen in countless ways and is always adequate to meet the human need. How natural it is to worship this adorable God, who is so worthy of our reverence and love.
