With a most grateful heart I am submitting this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me over a period of some thirty-two years. My first healing, which occurred in 1924, was that of a stomach condition of about fifteen years' standing. This condition had baffled numerous physicians, and I was in a most discouraged mental state. At the urging of a member of my family I reluctantly asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. In less than a week I was healed and able to eat and to digest my food in a normal manner.

I at once began studying the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and have never discontinued this study. I have had many instances of the efficacy of the system of healing set forth in this book. Inflammatory rheumatism, which at intervals had plagued me from boyhood, disappeared, and the prognostication of a family physician that I would doubtless become a cripple because of this affliction has been proved false.

In addition to the physical healings and the manifestation of supply which I have experienced throughout the years, the peace and confidence that come from learning to trust divine Mind is something that cannot be described in words. Membership in The Mother Church and a branch church has brought joyous opportunities to show by service a small measure of the gratitude which I feel for Mrs. Eddy's unselfish labor in bringing the Science of Christianity to the world.—Bert M.
