RADIO PROGRAM NO. 174 - Freedom from Bondage to the Past

Speaker: Have you ever looked back and said, "If only it hadn't happened that way"? So often people are burdened by unhappy memories and bitter regrets or aftereffects of illness or injury. But if you or a loved one should be suffering from disappointments or misfortunes of long ago, the power of God can wipe out those scars. In other words, friends, you and I can find freedom from bondage to the past, whatever form it takes.

I'd like you to meet someone who has been able to prove this in his own experience. He's Hal Friesen of Altadena, California, a veteran of World War II and a textbook salesman for one of the big publishing houses. You deal mostly with high school texts, don't you, Mr. Friesen?

Mr. Friesen: Yes, I call on the public schools in California. The steps that led to my entering this work were a very important chapter in my life.
