Christian Science has brought so much good into my life during the last twenty-four years that I must try to express my thanks and love for its teaching.

When I first heard of this Science I was living in an isolated region in British Columbia, Canada. I had been suffering over three years from severe eczeman, a disease which had troubled me off and on all my life. I was trying to bear the trouble, for I thought that it must be God's will for me to suffer, since I had been brought up to look for His hand in everything.

Then a friend whom I knew only by correspondence came to visit for three days. Seeing my need, she asked if I would like to try Christian Science. I knew nothing about it, but was willing to try anything. When my friend returned home she sent me "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and some other authorized literature. In addition, she patiently answered my questions by letter. I can never be grateful enough to her, for after three weeks of study I was completely healed. After that I could see God's hand shaping my course more clearly than ever, but now I knew Him as divine Love, sending only good to us.
