My gratitude for the abundance,...

My gratitude for the abundance, joy, and peace I have found in the study of Christian Science is unlimited. Best of all is the assurance that I am learning the most important thing of all—the truth of God and His creation, including perfect man—and that each day I trust God more.

Many human problems have been solved as the method of Christian Science has been honestly and correctly applied. I was able to graduate from a university, although my bank account had indicated that I would be unable to do so. This step was accomplished by seeing that God is working His purpose out and that, as Mrs. Eddy writes on page 195 of Science and Health, "Academics of the right sort are requisite," and on page 199, "The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible." My purpose in obtaining a higher education was to be better equipped to serve God and our beloved Cause of Christian Science, and I believed this purpose to be "an honest achievement."

A harmonious and satisfying marriage has been made and maintained by the realization of man's completeness as God's reflection. One outstanding experience was that of harmonious childbirth. A practitioner guided my thinking in the study of the Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy. Many hours were spent with these books and the Concordances to them, and I gained a true sense of birth as an awakening to spiritual reality. The birth was quick and uncomplicated, and the child was normal.
