In our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read on page 298: "Life, Truth, and Love are the realities of divine Science. They dawn in faith and glow full-orbed in spiritual understanding."

Several years ago I started down some steps from a high bluff to the sidewalk below. The stairs were wet and slippery, and when my umbrella caught on something I felt my body thrown forward. Immediately I declared, "Underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deut. 33: 27). When I recovered from a temporarily dazed condition, I found myself sitting on the street curb. Several persons had collected by this time, and one of them took me home. However, I had not a scratch or a bruise, and the following morning I walked comfortably to my work.

For more than forty years I have had many healings through the teachings of Christian Science. Some conditions yielded quickly and others slowly, according to my thinking, but Christian Science has been my only help, and it has never failed when properly applied.
