From early childhood to mature...

From early childhood to mature manhood I had sudden internal attacks which caused much pain and suffering and from which I received no relief from medical remedies. I was told that these attacks were the result of a liver condition and that little could be done for me. My wife, who was then a very young student of Christian Science, recommended that I try this religion. I was skeptical and doubted that any religion could help a physical ailment of twentyfive year's standing.

However, I decided that inasmuch as I had tried without results everything I thought would give relief, I would try Christian Science. I asked a practitioner for help, a treatment was given, and the healing was immediate and has been permanent.

For some years after this healing I drifted along and gave little thought to the truth that had made the healing possible. However, a severe attack of influenza again turned me to Christian Science, and again with the help of a practitioner I was healed. After this healing I had a strong desire to know more about this religion and its great healing power.
